Cosmetic surgical procedure which involves reducing the size of the breasts making them smaller, firm and proportionate to the rest of the body. This technique removes excess fat, skin and breast tissue of patient repositioning the areola and nipple in his new position. Women with very large breasts may develop physical problems such as back pain, skin irritation and psychological problems that can interfere with your relationships. In these patients, breast reduction may be a solution to these problems, giving a purpose other than one that is purely aesthetic.
This procedure is performed under general anesthesia and is ambulatory (not requiring hospitalization).
